Autumn Zebra Pole Bean

Colorful, Japanese pole bean is perfect as a fresh or dry bean.

Also called the “seaweed bean” due to its umami flavor. Bean have a wonderful flavor and texture, nice in stews and soups.

Vigorous vines, need support. Frequent harvest makes plants more productive.

• Full sun
• Seed Depth: 1/2" to 1"
• Ideal Temperature: 70-80 F
• Plant Spacing: 6-10"
• Not frost tolerant but can be tried as a Spring or early Fall bean in SATX.
