Green Stripe Cushaw Squash

Wanna to grow squash? Wanna kick vine borers in the butt? Cushaw squash is an excellent heirloom with amazing heat tolerance and thick vines that increase resistance to vine borers.

Large, banana-shaped fruits with pale green skin and darker stripes. Mild, creamy flesh is ideal for pies and baking. Vigorous vines and excellent storage. Give room to sprawl.

This plant has performed consistently well in our trials:

Heat tolerant- 10/10
Drought tolerance- 8/10- performs with less water than other squash but consistent water can mean bigger fruit. Mulching helps in the hottest part of the year.
Taste: 6/10- ours were very mild on flavor
