One of the oldest runner beans in existence! Traced back to the Hopipeople. Listed in 1735 in England and as early as 1806 in the US. Great as an ornamental or as a vegetable; fresh use as small snap pods or green shell beans. Lovely scarlet flowers that attract hummingbirds. Performs well in San Antonio’s long, hot season!
